Country Cuisine Ltd. has been offering an outside catering service for special occasions for over 25 years. We specialise in supplying stylish and delicious food for larger events including weddings and balls, luncheons, afternoon tea, elegant dinners, funerals or corporate events.
We have catered for groups of up to 600 people - but the average tends to be between 80 and 180 guests. Locations have included Wimbledon, Hampton Court and Brighton Pavilion as well as marquees, village halls, barns, schools, open fields and, of course, the medieval event location Pledgdon Barn near Stansted Airport.
COSTS
A rough guide price for a 3-course sit-down meal with coffee after at Pledgdon Barn - inclusive of china, linen, cutlery, food service for 85 or more guests in 2013 - would be £47.60 inclusive for your choice of menu suggestions - or the lower-priced Set Menu at £42.90 inclusive. Alternatives are provided for known vegetarians/'allergic' guests. (For catering at other venues and marquees, please add 15%.)
Once your menu is chosen, if there really are circumstances beyond our control affecting food sources and prices, we'll contact you.
To obtain a Country Cuisine quote for any event, just give us the basic facts (ie your proposed date, approximate number of guests and the ‘format’ you have in mind) by phone or email. We can then send menus/prices based on the details given. Some people require traditional food – whilst others want elaborate ‘cutting edge’ ideas. Everything is prepared ourselves from fresh ingredients and presented generously and beautifully. Clients are welcome to let us know about any special menu requests, of course. If you inform us in good time, we will work with you to try to accommodate guests' allergies 'though please note that regarding nuts, it is known that food manufacturers of our staple ingredients such as flour and chocolate never guarantee nuts haven't been in contact with their machinery etc.
STAFF
We have a long-standing team of staff who have been with us for years and we can provide staff to serve throughout, if required, at Country Cuisine events.
DELIVERY SERVICE
We can offer 'delivery only ' of food/equipment (ie no staff or service aspect needed) and will arrive with the food, bone china, cutlery, serving equipment, condiments, napkins and linen buffet cloth and set this out in readiness. We then return after the event to collect back the unwashed equipment – making it all as easy as possible for the party-giver. We can even just hire out the equipment (elegant glasses, cake stands, bone china, urns, ovens etc.) - please see equipment hire prices on this website.
Also we can deliver hamper boxes of afternoon tea or picnics to you (what about ordering one for your Setting Up Day or the day after your big event when you just want to relax and enjoy your memories!).
